FEMA and AIA National have come to an understanding to where FEMA sees the expertise and usefullness of Architects. The FEMA National Incident Management System now lets Architects serve in leadership roles: Strike Team Leaders, Techincal Supervisors, SAP role and Complex Architectural System Condition Evaluators.
In Abilene we are blessed to not need FEMA as often as other parts of the country but we can still use our knowledge to help those that are effected.
